You’re Amazing!!

Hello crafters 🙂 Hope you all are doing good & safe during this COVID lockdown ..Stay safe all ❤️❤️

Today I made a card for Altenew Inspiration Challenge. Somehow I do not have many Altenew products. I have only Leaf burst stencil & Fantasy floral 3D dies with me. So put the dies for use for the first time..

You’re Amazing

First I die cut roses & leaves on watercolor paper. Then colored the die cuts by watercolor smooshing technique. I used worn lipstick distress oxide ink & pastel orange for the roses and Grey watercolors for the leaves. Once the die cuts dried, I applied some Mod-podge & sprinkled some Distress glitter to give shimmery effect. Now all the elements for the card is ready.

I arranged the die cuts onto a card base (A2 size). I stamped the sentiment “You’re amazing “ from Simon Says Stamp Leafy frames stamp set in Black using Versafine Onyx Black. Finished the card with some sequins.

Am so happy with the shimmery effect 😁😁

Bee-utiful Bees !!

Hello my dear crafty friends.. Been a long time since I made a card .. So here I am with not just 1 card but 3 😀😀😀

I used Simon Says Stamp July 2019 card kit for my cards today .. This stamp set is so versatile and loads of ideas are in my mind ☺️☺️

I stamped the bees on watercolor paper & colored them using Tombow Dual Brush pens. Then I die cut the bees & hearts using coordinating dies.. I did not plan for 3 cards initially.. But in a flow started making more bee die cuts ..

Bee-utiful Bees

For the first card I made a watercolor background.. I dry embossed a brown watercolored sheet using Woodgrain embossing folder.. Then I splattered some brown paint on it. I had a red die cut heart in my stash .. Adhered the bee on heart using foam for dimension .. I also stuck a heart on the bee.. I then arranged the card and placed a sentiment “ Mommy to Bee “ in Versfine Onyx Black ink .. Then comes my Husband’s touch to this card .. A frame in white card stock 😀😀

On to the second card .. I started by die cutting the honey comb on a watercolor sheet.. Then took a piece of yellow card stock & placed as a backing for the honey comb part .. I placed the skeleton of the comb back on my card .. Then I painted sky blue watercolor in the background.. I stamped the bee’s pattern in Versafine Onyx black .. Now my background is complete .. I heat embossed the the sentiment “Bee-utiful” on a piece of black card stock with Ranger White Embossing powder.. My bees are ready ..

I stuck a piece of black card stock on to my card base(4.25X5.50) . Then adhered my background sheet on top of black card stock.. I then placed the bees & sentiment using foam squares .. I love the dimensions that foam squares bring in 😍😍 .. Yes.. The husband’s touch for this card is the heart in between the bees ❤️❤️

Whoa .. Am on a card making spree today!! Here goes the third card & last card – coz i ran out of bee die cuts 😉😉

I never use Patterned papers on my cards .. So patterned papers are the Husband’s touch here 😍 He chose papers (yellow flower design) & design for my third card .. I trimmed down the patterned paper from the same card kit to (5.25X4.00)” .. I also die cut a stitched circle using a black card stock .. Now arrange the card .. Quickest card ever – I should use more patterned papers

I adhered the patterned paper on my card base .. The remaining strip of the patterned paper was available .. So used the second side of the strip based on the design in the middle of the paper .. The stuck the circle using foam squares little towards the right side of the card . Finished the third card by placing the couple bees on black circle using foam squares 😀😀 Tada !!

Thank you all for stopping by my blog ❤️❤️ See you soon with more such fun cards ..

His Birthday Card

Hello dear friends.. While February is the month of love, I have one other reason to celebrate.. My husband’s birthday was yesterday.. We had such a blast yesterday.. Though I missed baking cake for him 😦

However I managed to make this cute CAS card for him..

I used Simon Says Stamp July 2019 Card kit “Bee Yourself “ for this card.. I die cut 7 sets of hearts in all 3 sizes. Colored them using Tombow Usa dual brush pens in colors Violet, Green & Grey.. I then prepared an A2 size card base and popped the hearts using foam dots.

Then I hand wrote the sentiment Happy Birthday using my black gel pen.. I felt something was missing.. I debated between sequins & nuvo jewel drops.. But went with Nuvo jewel clear drops on top of the hearts .. Now these hearts have a gloss & dimension..

The card is ready 😀😀 My husband liked it so much 💙🖤💚

Thank you for stopping by my blog 🙏🏻

Sending Love

Hello friends .. Welcome back to my blog .. Today I am sharing a card featuring a cute stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh ” Floral Hearts “. This card is inspired by Yana Smakula’s recent post about Hot Foiling with coordinating dies.. I totally forgot I had this stamp set. I bought only the Stamp few months ago and guess what.. I had to search for this and I found many unused Stamps 🙂 Many cards to follow .. Yay!!

So here I have not done foiling. I did heat embossing instead 🙂 Here goes the details..

I cut the Simon Says Stamp Schoolhouse red card stock to 4X5.25 “. Dusted the card stock with Anti static powder and stamped the floral heart stamps (both inner & outer) using versamark ink & my MISTI tool. I then heat embossed the stamped image Gold Wow embossing powder & heat gun. To see Gold on Red card stock.. Wow.. I loved it..

To add more interest to this card, I did diagonal scoring on the Red card stock surrounding the Floral heart image. This enhances the image. This is my first time experimenting this process.

I prepared my own A2 size Note card using Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock. I adhered the Red card stock on to the note card using double sided string adhesive. To add more details to the image, I used Uniball white gel pen & colored the hearts in the image. Then I used Ranger liquid pearls White along the diagonal intersection of scoring lines to beautify the card and to the floral hearts image as well.

I was done with this card. I din’t want to over do anything further. I thought of skipping the sentiment on the outside

At last I decided to include a sentiment “Sending Love” from the same stamp set. Now the card is complete ..

Thank you for stopping by. I ll come back with more cards.. Love you all 🙂

Just BEE-cause

Hello Friends .. Today am sharing a card using Simon Says Stamp Bee Yourself stamp & dies. This set has endless possibilities..

I thought of using a piece of die cut honeycomb inmy card. But then I decided to use that die cut piece as a stencil 🙂 So here goes the details of the card
I started by sprinkling pink, red & orange watercolors on a watercolor card stock (5.25 X 4 “) via my honeycomb diecut. This gave a wonderful pattern. I had stamped & die cut one of the bees & few hearts from teh same stamp set.
Colored them using Tombow USA dual brush pens. Once the background dried, I stamped the heart stamp & the sentiment Just Bee-cause from the same set.

I like adding dimensions to the card.. So first I poopped the little heart on to the Bee using foam square.. Then I popped the bee on top of the heart stamp where bee comes.. I popped the big heart near the sentiment & added Nuvo Clear drops on this heart for teh shine..

This is a quick & easy card.. Thank you for stopping by my blog.. Please share your thoughts in the comments section..

Happy Anniversary my dear Sister !!

Hello my dear friends. Welcome to my blog. Today am sharing a card that I made for my sister on her Wedding anniversary on 30th Jan 2020. This is a quick and fun card to make. I love the flow of Alcohol Inks on Yupo Sheets.. Let’s see how I made this card..

I used this beautiful stamp & die from Neat & Tangled called “Have Courage” on Alcohol Inked Yupo card stock. I stamped this lovely image using Versafine Onyx ink on an inked Yupo card stock with Tim Holtz – Ranger Alcohol inks. The black ink created a too dark outline, so I wiped out the ink using cotton swabs. This left with a faded outline of the flower. This way the Alcohol ink’s colors get highlighted.

I stamped the flower image & the sentiment on a piece of Shimmery Grey card stock using Versamark clear ink. I heat embossed this using Ranger White embossing powder. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp “Always & Forever” stamp set.

Next comes the interesting part – arranging the flowers. I die cut couple of flowers and popped it on the Grey card stock stamped images using foam squares. This white image in the background enhances the actual colored flowers.

I trimmed this lovely arrangement to 4.25X5.50 ” and adhered this on to a Kraft card stock. I finished off the card by adding few White sequins that I bought from ellescraftingsequins1991. The card is ready. I paired this with Simon Says Stamp Envelope – Slate

Thank you for visiting my blog. Happy Weekend dears..

HaPPy BiRD-DaY

Happy Thursday my friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I have Happy Bird-day card to share with you. I used MFT Stamps & Dies.

I started by ink blending on a 4.25X4.25″ white card stock using Catherine Pooler Inks It’s a boy & Suede Shoes blue colors. I used Picket fence life changing blending brushes. Then I sprinkled water on it. I wasn’t satisfied with the look. So I went ahead and sprayed white acrylic paint and little gold metallic acrylics to give a shine to this background.

I stamped & die cut this cute little bird from MFT stamps “Toucan do it”. The tree branches & leaves were die cut from Lawn Fawn Winter Sparrows stamp & die set. I colored all these using Tombow USA brush pens. I added the lines on wings using Micron black pen. I also die cut a circle & blended with It’s a boy blue ink to match with the background. I stamped this circle with sentiment “Happy Bird-day” from the same MFT stamp set.

I prepared a 5X5″ White note card with Neenah Solar white card stock. I adhered the background and placed all the elements. I finished off the card by adding few gold sequins. This is a quick & fun card.. Hope you all like this.. Thank you for stopping by.. Have a wonderful day!!

Have a Fabulous Day!

Happy Wednesday dear crafty friends.. Hope you all are enjoying this week. I am waiting for the weekend already 🙂 Today I am sharing a fun card I made using Altenew Leaf burst stencil.

I started by inking It’s a boy & Suede Shoe blue inks by Catherine Pooler inks through Altenew Leaf Burst stencil on to a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lbs card stock. I did not cover the stencil fully , just faded it towards the edges.

I added the sentiment “Have a Fabulous Day” from Neat & Tangled Flamingo Floatie Stamp set using foam squares. I adhered this card stock on to a top folding Kraft card base. I finished off this card using Ranger White Opal Liquid pearls along the Stencil design.

I am entering this card for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – Use a Stencil

Hello Beautiful – Birthday card

Hello my dear friends 🙂

Hope you all had a lovely weekend. After a busy week & weekend, I found sometime for little crafting..

I started going through my collection of dies & found a maple die cut + emboss. This was one of the first dies I had bought from Hobby Lobby. But never used them until today.. So new die for the new week 🙂 🙂 🙂

Here goes the details..

I made an angular CAS card using Alcohol Ink die cuts. I die cut some maple leaves from alcohol ink backgrounds that I had created a while ago. I also dry embossed the maple leaves.
I dry embossed a shimmer pink card stock with wood grain embossing folder. I made a 4.25″X5.5″ top folding Kraft notecard.
I first adhered the pink card stock to the Note card. Then stuck White card stock pieces (cut in angular manner) using some foam tape to give more dimension in such a way that pink card stock is visible on the right end.
I adhered the maple leaves in the gap between white card stocks using foam squares.
Then I stamped Hello and wrote Beautiful using Black gel pen.
Finished the card by adding few sequins

Hope you all like this card ..

Birthday & Valentine Card using SSS “You” wafer die.

Hello Friends..

Today I have 2 cards to share with you all. I have used Simon Says Stamp “You” wafer die. I purchased this die a while ago, but never really put to use. So today is the day… Let me not delay any further.

First card is a Birthday card.

I used some scrap sheets in Cotton candy, Sea glass, Black & White pieces from older projects…

I adhered these scraps onto a white card stock (4″X5.25″).

To cover the joints I used Shimmer gold washi tape.

I die cut the word “You” twice in black card stock, and stacked then together, to give little dimension.

I hand wrote the words “Are Amazing” using black gel pen.

Then I adhered this white card stock on to a 4.25″ X 5.50″ note card

For the second card, I used the negatives from “You” die cut. Couldn’t resist myself from not using it 🙂 This is a 4″X4″ Valentine’s day card.

I trimmed the Black “You” negative to 3″X3″ and attached it on to a white Shimmer card stock that I bought from Michaels.

I stuck XOXO wash tape on this note card and then I adhered You negative on to the 4″X4″ note card.

I felt it too empty.. So I stuck 3 cute white paper blooms which I received with SSS June 2019 Card kit.

I finished the second card by adding some pearls from my stash.

Both the cards are ready.

Season’s Greetings – Alcohol Ink Die cut card

Hello Friends!

Today I have a card to share with you in which I used the beautiful “Have Courage” stamp & die set from Neat & Tangled. I bought this stamp set long ago, but never really got a chance to use. Today is the day finally :):)
I have been experimenting Alcohol inks lately.. This is so much fun.. I used Purple Violet, Limeade and Turquoise  Alcohol inks along with Gold Mixative. The Alcohol Inks are from Ranger.

For today’s card I decided just to go with the die. So I directly die cut the images from the alocohol inked Yupo sheets. I sprinkled Gold Acrylic paint on to a piece of Black card stock. Then I arranged these die cut images on the Black card stock using foam squares. Then I adhered the black card stock on to White 4.25 X 5.50 ” note card. I stamped the sentiment “Season’s Greetings”  on a piece of Neenah Solar white 110 lbs card stock using Versafine Onyx Black ink. The sentiment is from a stamp set that I bought from Michaels. To add some more fun, I adhered a small Gold thread bow on to the stalk. Tadaa… the card is ready..

Supplies Used:

“Have Courage” die set from Neat & Tangled.
Neenah Solar Crest White 110 Lbs Cardstock
Black Cardstock 100 Lbs
Yupo Sheet
Purple Violet, Limade and Turquoise  Alcohol inks
Sizzix Big Shot die cut machine
